Charles Wade Chism
BALDWYN [MS] - CHARLES WADE CHISM, 71, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at his residence. He was a truck driver for 50 years, most recently driving for Wade Trucking in Mantachie. He enjoyed attending basketball games and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force. He was born in Baldwyn on Jan. 14, 1942, to Jessie and Dewdrop Chism.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, at Waters Funeral Home. Burial will be
in Kirkville Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home of Baldwyn is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include son, Dusty Chism (Becky) of Fulton; grandchildren, Paden Chism,
Preston Chism, Jackson Chism and Chloe Chism; two sisters, Sue Little (Joe) of
Knoxville, Tenn., Betty Floyd (William) of Dallas, Texas; and 10 brothers, J.W.
Chism of N.J., Leroy Chism (Pat) of Madison, Dewey Chism (Keitha) of Union City,
Tenn., J.C. Chism (Teresa) of Pontotoc, Kenneth Chism (Carol) of Booneville, Jessie
Chism (Rosemary) of Baldwyn, David "Bo" Chism (Jan) of West Monroe, La., Jackie
Chisn (Judy) of Marietta, Mitch Chism (Tammy) of Baldwyn and Bill Chism (Brenda) of
Guntown.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and nephews, Adam and Ricky Chism.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
