Mary Floyd
BOONEVILLE [MS] — Mary Floyd, 74, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, at Booneville Baptist Hospital after a long illness. She was a retired register nurse with 40 years of service. She was a member of the Booneville Church of Christ.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel
with Minister Doug Greenway officiating. Burial will be in Zion Rest
Cemetery.
Survivors include her mother, Ruth Bolton Floyd of Booneville, six
sisters, Bobbie Huddleston, Martha Tyra and her husband, Gorden, and
Evelyn Floyd, all of Booneville, Elizabeth Chisholm and her husband,
Charles, of Canton, Sarah Parker, and her husband, O'Neil, of
Memphis, and Barbara Eubanks and her husband, Tom, of Jasper, Ga.;
one sister-in-law, Pam Floyd of Booneville, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Floyd, and two
brothers, Harrell Floyd and Kenneth Floyd.
Her nephews will be pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers will be Allan Norton, Herschel Morgan, and the
doctors, nurses and hospital staff with whom she worked.
Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. today and until service time
Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the [Mary
Floyd] Nursing Scholarship Fund at Northeast Mississippi
Community College in Booneville or to the Pinevale Children's Home
in Corinth.
